There's 47 days left in 2012, can you believe it?
Yup, the year's almost done.
What have you accomplished on your running goals?
Remember, The goals you made for yourself on January 1st.
Did you map out your training plan and execute it?
Did you decide what your running/training weaknesses
where, and improved on them?
Did you run the necessary miles?
Did you run the new race length that you wanted?
Or have you taken the easy training run, or the shorter
distance?
"I don't really need to run that far/fast."
"I'll run tomorrow."
"Things will be easier when the weather breaks."
"Those training runs are too boring."
Don’t get me wrong…I’m with you. I need to hold myself accountable and run farther,
train harder, and race better. The worst
thing we can ever do is lie to yourself.
And if you wanna sit around short-changing your future,
telling yourself you're too busy, too overloaded, too tired or life's too
hard.... hey, it's a free country.
BUT, I’m going to run….you with me? We get ONE life and this is it, let's run!
Time is ticking. Tick-tock, tick-tock. So seize the remaining days of 2012 and
make 'em count...
Do you know what famous clock face that is?
Well...I did not hit the goals I planned but I do plan to seize the rest of 2012. So, I am with you. My guess for the clock is Big Ben.
